DeathBox celebrates 20th anniversary in Rotterdam

A big weekend it will be in Rotterdam as the World Championship of Skateboarding 2007 is counting down to it’s start with confirmations coming left, right and central from some of the world’s best skaters -including Rune Glifberg, Sandro Dias, Matthias Ringsgtrom, David Gonzales, Geoff Rowley and many more!

Besides the contest another big event is happening: the 20th anniversary celebration for the DeathBox skateboard company. They started out back in 1987 in England with liitle more than 2000 pounds and followed from then on their ambitions to enjoy and support skateboarding. Over the years a team of skaters known until today ( people like Rune Glifberg, Alex Moul, Pete Dossett, Paul “Rocker” Robson, Rune Glifberg, Davy Van Laere, Nordien Quatbi, Jocke Olsson, Bruno Rouland, Andy Scott and Sean Goff - yeah some good ones). Around 1994 the guys decided to jump on a plane and try their best over in California and what resulted is FLIP skateboards.
