C.O.S skateboard contest in Weil am Rhein, Germany starts today

The Playstation Club of Skaters Cup moves on to the next venue which begins today, August 31st, in Weil am Rhein, Germany. The street competition will see skaters battle it out for 1,750 Euros in prize money and the chance to collect important points for the overall rating in the series. Read more…

DC shoes video – European collective in Dubai

Just before I jump out of here to get in a night session in the local pool and halfpipe, I’ve come across this video from the european skateboard collective for the DC shoes team. They were out in Dubai some this summer (I’m guessing here yet again, talk about quality reporting!) and this is just a part of the video off YouTube. If somebody knows where to find a better quality version, just let me know – one that can be integrated here. Otherwise just jump over to the Puzzle Video website for a nicer video experience!

Construction of new concrete skatepark in Antwerpen, Belgium underway

Concrete bowl landscapes are popping up like Gremlins after a thunderstorm all over Europe. Team Pain has already built two parks in Belgium and are currently working on a new 2500m² skatepark in Antwerpen. And this one sounds just as nice as the one in Kortrijk. Read more…
