Finally I came across some information about skateparks over in Ireland and it seems as if they have made a major leap forward just in the last few years to see some nice parks emerge.

The Gorey skatepark, Greystone skatepark, the Bushy skatepark and Waterford skatepark stuck out the most as they are all concrete parks with bowls as well. Greystone sounds really nice as it supposedly has a deep bowl but as usually with skateparks, the details are more than vague!! Damn. I’ll be getting in contact with the websites which have put up the pictures to see if I can get better details. From what I could see there is a list of 19 skateparks in Ireland alone!

And the people behind Boarderco (http://www.boardercoeire.com) are holding an Irish skate tour with 10 stops if I counted correctly around Ireland from August 24th till 27th. I’m contacting them to try and get the addresses of some of these parks.
