It is good to sometimes jump across the pond to see what is happening in the States. This weekend Volcom and Spotlight Productions are holding a pro and am mini-ramp jam at the Surf Expo in Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center.

This event has grown to become one of the most lucrative stops in the contest circus in North America. An 80-foot wide mini-ramp is being set up by none other than Tim Payne and his crew, Team Pain. Two separate pro and am contests will be held with a total of $35,000 bucks waiting in the main purse, 10 grand going to the winner. Tomorrow Volcom will be hosting the event as a live webcast at around 12 midday Florida time so around 5 or 6 in the evening over in Europe so be sure to check their site!
