  • Osiris and Consolidated Skateboards get Drunk

    Osiris Shoes

The skateboard shoe industry is multi-million dollar arena which of course attracts new names, new companies and old companies tryingto get in on a part of the bucks. Osiris has put their energy together with Consolidated Skateboards to bring out a new special edition of a shoe called “The Drunk” which is a quite obvious shot back at a certain large sport company.

The shoes are going to be sold only at core skate and surf shops in support of the Don’t Do It campaign, “a movement that seeks to put the power back into the hands of those companies that built the action sports industry” as Osiris and Consolidated Skateboards state. Consolidated Skateboards, who has been leading the Don’t Do It campaign since 1997, got the support of the heads of many of the core industry companies to lead this awareness campaign by creating a new version of the Drunk each season. “Making quality skate shoes is not our specialty, so we are excited to co-op “Drunks” with Osiris and other quality skate shoe makers.” says Steve “Birdo” Guisinger.

    The Drunk shoe

The Drunk shoe has a signature banana logo on the side of each shoe which looks pretty much like you know which brand of shoe, pushing the message that if “this company” can try to enter the skateboard show industry, they can make basketball shoes to skate in

The Osiris Drunks will be available at select core shops and will be priced at $69.95.
