Volcom Wild in the Parks results from Aberdeen, Scotland

Volcom Wild In The Parks

Sidewalk Magazine keeps us all up to date with the latest results from the Volcom Wild In The Parks contest series out of Aberdeen, Scotland and from what I have read it seems to have been a scorcher of a contest. Dive in to find out more.

Aberdeen saw a strong turnout for the UK leg of Volcoms “Wild in the Parks”. Kris Vile and Ben Raemers were on hand representing Volcom Europe, as were UK Volcom heads Chris Ault and Rory Milanes.

The afternoon was split in two unsponsored competitions, 15 and Under and the 16 and Over. Entrants were allowed to skate every part of the park and were judged on overall ability by the Volcom riders. The early evening saw two best trick competitions which anyone, sponsored or unsposored could enter, one on the parks main wallride, and a second one in the bowl, which turned into an hour long jam session.

16 and Over

1st - Keith Allan
2nd - Murray Fendin
3rd - Adam Maguire

15 and Under

1st - Mark Murray
2nd - Daniel Shaw
3rd - Angus Morrison

Best Trick: Wallride - Paul “Man” Silvester - Wallride Fakie over block

Best Trick: Bowl - Ben Raemers - Flip Melon
