Quiksilver integrates skateable architecture in the community

Quiksilver goes urban

Skating, walking, riding - however you choose to get through a city, you can quite often find yourself staring at different pieces of architecture, stairways, rails, benches etc. and thinking of how you would try a certain trick on it. These objects are already integrated in the world around us - we take them for granted even though we are happy to see them there, waiting for us to skate them. I received a link from an Italian web blog about how Quilsilver integrated advertising and real skateable objects into the architecture in Copenhagen. Take a look inside at this cool idea…

The idea was created by the design agency Saatchi & Saatchi, Copenhagen. Hope to see more of this in the future!
