Skateboarding is going down under and beyond in February as the Bowl-A-Rama contests take place both at the Waitangi Park Skatepark in Wellington, New Zealand February 16th, 2008 and at Bondi Beach Sydney, Australia February 23rd, 2008. Some of the world’s best skaters have been confirmed to turn up and give these bowls a shredding including last year’s Bondi Beach winner Rune Glifberg - personally one of my favorite skaters all time.

With $10,000 bucks in Wellington and $30,000 up for grabs in Sydney, the battle will surely be worth the visit if you can make it doen there. Here are some of the confirmed riders:
