Future Nature Tour with Element Skateboards

This has been up for a while but there’s still enough time to get involved in this interesting contest format which is trying to raise the public’s awareness about the environment. Good idea and an international effort..here’s the forum entry off of the Sidewalk Skateboarding forum (just making sure some funny people out there don’t start moaning about me copying, that’s why I mentioned the writer!)

On May 8 Elemental Awareness, a non profit organization, will depart on the 4th annual ‘Future Nature Tour.’ This four stop tour will showcase four AM contests in unique settings while skating everything in between. In the van for the whole trip are Element riders Tosh Townend and Levi Brown. Element Europe riders will also be in attendance at each event. The difference between an EA trip and a regular skateboard tour is that we make it all about the kids. We bring top am’s and pro’s to judge the contests that the kids will be skating in. After the contest, everyone skates together in a jam format. This way the kids are taking an active part in the event instead of the passive role of a spectator.

The first stop is at the Crawley Skatepark just outside of London. Element Europe rider Lucien Clarke will join the EA crew for this stop of the tour. The next event will be in Lille, France featuring Europe Team Rider Gauthier Rouger. Next we will head to Germany and meet up with Michael Mackrodt for a contest in Köln. The last event will be at the Stadspark skatepark in Antwerp, Belgium. Europe riders Bas Janssen and Evelien Bouilliaert will be on the scene for the last contest of the tour.

-Free entry fee (each kid signs a liability waiver)
-Free Elemental Awareness tee shirt+sticker for every contestant
-3 divisions with 3 winners
13 and under
14 to 17
18 and up
-prizes per division :
1st : Board+wheels+trucks+tee+goods from eventual other sponsors
2nd : Board +tee
3rd : Board
