There are more than enough contests around for those hungry to prove their skills against other skateboarders in front of hoards of practiced spectators and to maybe even gain some fame and fortune - at least for a bit. Then there is the Old School Skate Jam 3 which integrates 3 different concrete spots/parks/pools - all in Marseille, France - from July 12th -14th. If you have never been to Marseille then you HAVE to get down there. Still one of the best parks in the world right on the beach, great weather and atmosphere, just plain good holiday time.

And by the way: no fortune in this contest, just skateboarding and no prize purse. Sounds like a good session to me!
