The latest Pic Of The Day on Europeskate is not perfectly in focus, not all sharp but it has something that attracts my attention – I just really like the shot! Fede Gonzalez is the skater scorching a long and fast bs flip and the man behind the lense is fede imbriano. No extra information was available about how the shot was taken.

Great idea and I was stumped with almost all of the questions – got to hit my skateboard trivia books again! More coming soon!

Going hjand in hand withe the latest section here on Europeskate which will portray the people behind the skateboard companies and who makes up the team, Element Skateboards has put together a trailer for their upcoming “Make It Count” video which showcases Element’s defining moments. From the very beginnings to a forward thinking global brand as they state it on their own site.
The full length film will release for free on the Element site as of August 1st, 2009. I’m looking forward to – more than just a few top skaters have helped form this brand.

Wallenberg Photo Sequences from Thrasher Mag
May 30th, 2009 / No Comments » / by Jonathan Young

The adrenaline is starting to pump through the veins of a bunch of skaters who will be participating later today – that’s Saturday, May 30th 2009 for those of you reading this in the future – in the Back To The Berg contest at the Wallenberg High School in San Francisco, California. Only a select few have pulled off the insane jump down the Big Four and today $10,000 bucks are for grabs again. It’s nice to see that the money is not the main incentive here – going down in the history books at a contest which makes skateboarding good again is what it’s about here.
Thrasher Magazine has put together several animated photo sequences so make sure you visit the Thrasher site by clicking here. I just added my favorite three sequences. And I have to say it again: Elissa Steamer is definitely one of my heros for even trying it!
