Last day of November 2009 so we have to round off the month with yet another Pic Of The Day which went missing for a few days. This one has Chris Batts in the middle of a frontside boardslide to a sketchy landing spot. Don’t you just love the color combination and the breakfast tacos sign is just great!
The credit for this picture goes to Perry Hall (check out more pictures here…) who made the shot with a Nikon D200.

Skipped a day yesterday as I just wanted to have a day away from any computer but with the weather so bad today, this is a much better alternative. Today’s Europeskate Pic Of The Day was taken by Jesus Arellanes (check out his Flickr gallery here…) and he captured Julian Izaguirre in the middle of a nice backside smith on a ledge in Chicago. Hoping to get the photo info in here for you as I like the setup!
Theeve Trucks Team Adds Tony Hawk And Matt Mumford

Theeve Trucks which have been making quite a few big waves with the announcement of their new team members continues to do just that with their two newest additions: Matt Mumford and Tony Hawk. They join team mates Garrett Hill, Dan Murphy, Gareth Stehr, Chad Bartie and Ben Raybourn. As my curiosity about how the trucks actually skate is growing, I already contacted Theeve Trucks about testing but – understandably – they’ve got loads of work at the moment so I’ll keep my fingers crossed about getting to test them some day soon.

I love having the day off, checking out new videos and just relaxing. Good that there are so many of you contributing news and sending in infos and links to even more great stuff. I missed this really well produced video by Liam Mitchell featuring Bradley Sheppard, Alien, Nate Lacoste, Chris Connolly, Nate Roline, Stacy Gabriel, Desmond Hoostie, Mike Klinkhamer, and Rob Rickaby.
Joey Cape Currently Touring South America

Now this is one for the music fans out there – know who Joey Cape is? Maybe if I mention Lagwagon, Bad Astronaut or even Me First And The Gimme Gimmes that little bell in your head may just start ringing. Okay, he is the lead singer of Lagwagon and has played in all of the other bands as well. What I didn’t know is that he put out a solo acoustic album last year entitle “Bridge” on Bad Taste Records in Europe, and on Suburban Home Records in the US – and i like it. Sure, it’s quieter than what he usually puts out – yeah, acoustic – but there are just certain voices that always work and Joey’s got that type of voice!

Noorder Light Video Trailer Out Of Belgium

Just had this video from Simon Grassert in my inbox this morning – it’s the trailer of the upcoming Noorder Light full-length video which has a planned release for sometime in 2010. This puts Belgium and its skaters on the skate map featuring Jarne Verbruggen, Timothy Deconinck, Olivier Ente, Szymon Stachon, Thibault Lenaerts, Youness Amrani, Kevin Tshala and Adrien Bulard.
