Axion Footwear coming back from the dead?

This piece of skateboard industry news floated into my inbox a couple of days ago but I wasn’t sure if it was just a joke. It seems that the skateboard shoe company Axion Footwear which was a leader back in the 90’s with Kareem Campbell as the backing figure pushing the brand to the top will be trying to make a comeback next year. Four Star Distribution is the company behind the scenes which is trying to support it’s worldwide growth and dedication to the “action sport community” – I really don’t like the “action sport” wording. What else is sport unless you are talking about chess or curling?

No way! that’s great, i remember Kareem Campbell ad’s for Axion and his own pro models. What’s next? Orion trucks will come back from death ahah cheers!

Dude these better come back, they were the most durable kicks i’ve ever had. I might have had every friggin model they put out.

It’s good to hear that he is bringing it back. According to his official MySpace they should be dropping at the end of 08 along with a whole new line of City Stars Skateboards. I guess for the holidays? Too bad he isn’t bringing back Orion though. He signed on to Destructo… Kind of sad, since the whole Destructo team is nothing special… except Adrien Lopez.

Man thats sick! Axion shoes where and always will be the $HIT! I remember the sports,
the official’s, the freakin GUY MARIANO’s, and my favorits the KAREEM CAMPBELL’s!
I know if i see them ill buy like 6 pairs for sho…..So do it!

This would be so nice …..my most favourite kicks were the KCK’s of course but also the Guy Mariano and the first Axion Sport with Nubuk Leather… damn good skate shoes and also lookin’ fresh… can’t wait to see the new stuff but i would appreciate to recall the first KCK’s from Duffs shoes …this was the freshest shoe ever … on durability and style hardly to beat…. so get it done yaaw!!
