Band Check-Out: Violent Soho
Finally back in here with a band check-out, sure took long enough and I have no idea why – plain laziness is my guess. Violent Soho is a four man band out of Mansfield/Brisbane, Australia which got together 5 years ago, influenced by a comfortable mix of 80′s and 90′s punk-grunge music.
One EP and two records later the band signed a deal with Ecstatic Peace/Universal US – a label headed up by none other than Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore – and are hard at work on recording new material due for release in 2010. While we are waiting , check out the MySpace page from Violent Soho – I’m liking them more and more I listen to them!
