Europeskate Pic Of The Day December 6th 2009

Sunday’s always a good day to relax, do basically what you want and I’m still using my days stuck in bed with this persisitent flu to keep finding more great skateboard photos and hooking up with the people behind the shots. Today’s Pic Of The Day comes from “soleir” (check his photo gallery right here…) and he catches Marcus Medio in the middle of a tweaked airwalk to fakie on this mini ramp in the city of Gijón, Spain.
The shot was created with a Canon EOS 40D, METZ 45 CT-1 at camera left and other Metz 45 CT-1 at camera right triggered through Elinchrom skyports. I think this picture is just fantastic!
How To Build a Mini Ramp With Billy Rohan – Episode 1 of 3

I’ve always wanted to have my own ramp but I haven’t had a place to build one yet – some day though I’ll make that dream come true and Billy Rohan plus a few friends take us through the steps of building one in this well produced 3 part video. Some of you will probably be thinking that it’s all logical – sure – but it is definitely perfect to make sure you avoid some basic mistakes which will result in a bad construction. Spine Crime – Irish Mini Ramp Video Session

Just a couple of days ago I received one of the many videos in the Europeskate mailbox – this one did make me sit down and watch it twice as the amount of board wizardry going down in this spine mini-ramp is just plain mad! It turns out that Brian Corscadden has this beauty of a spine ramp in his backyard somewhere in Ireland and he rips it along with Cian Eades, Brian Esmonde and Gav Coughlan.

UK Mini Ramp Champs 2009 Video

Just this past weekend the best mini ramp skaters from around the United Kingdom swarmed in on the town of Skegness to test their skills against each other at the X-Site Skatepark for this year’s UK Mini Ramp Championships 2009. 1000 Pounds were up for grabs and the skating was off the hook – watch it right here and dream about what you’ll be doing the rest of the day!
