Rune Glifberg Pro Converse Shoe Release Party
June 15th, 2010 / No Comments » / by Jonathan Young

The Converse Skateboarding team has attracted it’s fair share of top skaters to represent it’s skateboard team and Rune Glifberg is definitely a major bonus. With his incredibly smooth style on and off the board, he is just great to watch when shredding what ever obstacle is in his way.
For his Converse shoe release party, the legendary Pink Motel pool was put back into a state which let a beautiful pool come back to life. Christian Hosoi, Lance Mountain, Dave Duncan and many others came around for some backyard pool fun!

Duffs Footwear Fall And Holiday 2009 Shoe Collection
December 4th, 2009 / 2 Comments » / by Jonathan Young

Well, not all is bad being sick and lazing around at home – I finally can find the time to check out some of the latest collections from the many brands out there. Duffs Footwear is sporting some good looking new styles in their holiday collections and the selection is quite large. I especially like the color lines offered but that of course usually isn’t what makes the decision for the shoe. I’ve been testing shoes from several different companies over the last few years and the last pair of Duffs I had is way back in the old days so it’s time for me to get some of these to put them to the bowl/vert test soon.
After the jump below you can check out the large variety they have and yeah, they do have a good team as wel – Louie Barletta, Kevin Kowalski, Cooper Wilt and James Atkin are the sponsored riders for Duffs Footwear.
Converse – Thrasher Prevent This Tragedy Shoe Series
November 18th, 2009 / 1 Comment » / by Jonathan Young

Converse Skateboarding has been working a lot on developing new shoes since they have found their way back into the skateboarding market. There were and of course still are many opinions still being voiced about the pros and the cons (ohh, what a coincidence!) about it all – I really don’t care.
And why? Because it’s not like all of the other companies are just in this business for having fun right? Whatever, I’m actually just interested in the new shoes which actually do look quite good and now they have teamed up with Thrasher Magazine with a series for the upcoming Prevent “This Tragedy” video.
The set is made up of the CTS and the CTS mid shoe models + Prevent This Tragedy t-shirts and hats. I’ll be trying to get my hands (and feet) on these and other Converse models to test them out…
