DC King of Barcelona contest update – September 7th

DC King of Barcelona Contest

A lot has already taken place during the DC King of Barcelona contest which is going down in – ummh yeah – Barcelona, Spain since September 1st and continues until the 16th. Let’s get on with filling you in on the action.

September 1st was the first stop of the contest which took an entire horde of Spanish skaters to the Sants spot which subsequently was ripped and local skater Pablo Dominguez ended up in first place. Day 2, next spot: the Forum. Some of the skaters which should have been there were missing still due to the party the night before which went as a good party should into the wee hours of the this very day. Christian Sanchez and Thomas Winkle both made the finals on the first day and yet again at the Forum so they were in the lead already for the DC King of Barcelona crown. But the winner of the day was Patrick Bös who was able to land the most tricks and take home 600 Euros.

Right now the rest of the DC team is chilling and waiting for the next contest to get started which will take place September 16th at a undisclosed spot in Barcelona. DC has also set up a photo exhibition in Galeria ROJO (c/Girona, 61) for this event (with works of Alberto Polo, Patxi Pardiñas and Sem Rubio) about skateboarding in Barcelona in the past years, check the flyer below.
