When you find some time to cruise through the uncountable websites filled with skate photography or just flip through a general photography website, it is always for me just amazing to see the improvement in photo skills and creativity, not to mention the skaters in front of the lense ripping it up.
Today I stumbled across Chris Shields on Flickr with this great shot of “Jake” in the middle of an indy nosebone air between two transitions. These are the type of shots I’m looking for – the ones that make you almost feel like you are in the middle of the air yourself. Chris has a lot of other pictures on his Flickr account so go and check him out. The shot was taken with the following set-up: Camera: Nikon D40X, Exposure: 0.005 sec (1/200), Aperture: f/13, Focal Length: 55 mm, ISO Speed: 400.
