Great Burnside skatepark documentary film
The world famous DIY skatepark Burnside in Portand, Oregon has been around for 18 years now and it is still a park many try to skate when they make it over to the west coast of the States. A very insightful video documenting the skatepark with the originators Kent Dahlgren and Sage Bolyard, local businesswoman Joanne Ferrero, and Bud Clark, Portland’s Mayor at the time of Burnside’s inception gives us a behind the scenes view of how a project like this can come to life. And yes, this is the park that was featured in the 2007 film Paranoid Park.
Take the time to watch this documentary, it’s well worth it.
