Rasa Libre Welcome The Winter Solstice

I always love the time of the year when it’s the winter solstice – for those of you who don’t know what that is, let’s learn something before watching another video: it is either of the two times a year when the sun is at its greatest distance from the celestial equator: about June 21, when the sun reaches its northernmost point on the celestial sphere, or about December 22, when it reaches its southernmost point.

Basically this means for us that we are increasingly getting more sunlight now EVERY DAY, now isn’t that just great? It is something to grasp onto in the cold and dark wintery days – spring, summer and sunny fun is coming near. Or if you are lucky enough to live in a climate where it doesn’t matter, then you are doing something right!

The Rasa Libre team put together this video goodie (an edit of all the footage since the DVD – Essence of Freedom with Bryan Botelho, Kenny Reed, Max Van Arnem, Jesse Narvaez, Matt Field, and Nathan Porter with family Jameel Douglas, Evan Kinori, Tim Dodson, and Ben Eisenburg skateboarding SF and surroundings.) for us to think about just those special sunny and skateboard-filled days…can’t wait!
