Shoe product news from Vans and Puma – April 18th

Vans has been putting out those Sk8-Hi shoes with tributes to bands such as Iron Maiden or Motorhead and now one of the biggest bands of all time will be gettign a shoe dedicated to them as well – KISS. The side of the shoe featrues the portrait of guitarist, Ace Frehley, and the typical shoe tongue tab has a Kiss Army crest. Supposedly they should be released in October 2008.

More shoe news follows with the classic Screaming hand graphic from Jim Phillips which was pushed broadly by Santa Cruz Skateboards back in the 90’s (correct me if I’m wrong, or was it already in the late 80’s?) now being implemented on a classic Puma shoe. The price I’ve seen for this one is around 140 Euros, no release date found as of yet. (Source: Appartment 16)

If you are interested in punk rock and the history of the same than you have either heard or you still listen to Bad Brains. Great band and now Supreme and Vans are collaborating with a new shoe with the band’s colors (red, green and yellow). (Source:
