T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds contest next weekend in Berlin

A big weekend of skateboarding lies ahead of us as the T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds hit Berlin, Germany for two days this coming Friday and Saturday, October 12th and 13th at the Berliner Velodrom. With 100.000 Euros in the purse this invite only contest will let us witness some of the world’s top skaters skating hard for the win.

It all starts on Friday, the 12th of October with the qualification for the last three spots for the street finals. Directly after the qualification round the first final rounds will be held to see who will actually be in the finals on Saturday with the top 8 riders. Saturday is the day of the finals with the great idea of letting bands play between the heats. Orange But Green, the legendary Spermbirds and for the finals Bullet For My Valentine will make sure that the heat is on and the crowd is involved. And I am definitely looking forward to the BMX part of the competition as well so there’s loads of action going on.
