Berlin, Germany was the target of skaters around Europe just this past weekend as the Skatehalle Berlin hosted along with Relentless Energy the Clash 2010 street and bowl contest. Some of the top names from the past weren’t present this year ( Jürgen Horrwarth, Dennis Busenitz and last year’s winner Bastien Salabanzi ) but the list of skaters particpating still had it’s share of top names including tech wizard Chris Haslam, Tom Penny, new Flip amateur Andrew Langi, Vince del Valle, Yannick Schall, Thomas Weber, Alex Mizurov, Lem Vilemin, the man of the moment Youness Amrani and one of my personal favorites out my town of Hamburg: Michi van Fintel.

After all of the madness of a contest weekend with the crash-inflicted injuries, last year’s third place holder Thomas Weber came out on top of the street contest. Check out the results right here push the video clips from this weekend!

Missed this jewel of a video some how – featuring Rick McCrank, Silas Baxter Neal, Cairo Foster, John Rattray, Keegan Sauder, Chris Haslam and Kenny Anderson as the group attempt a self-sufficient skate tour, cycling and camping around New Zealands north island. The whole video clip has a great feeling to it – makes you want to grab your things and go!

Chris Haslam hooks up with StrangeNotes to put out another absolutely messed up trick combination and he just keeps grinning through the execution – just like the second video from back in 2008 which is equally mind-numbing. Wow is just about all I can say to this…I’m a bit speechless!

First I found the 10 trick video with Ben Raemers yesterday (watch it here…), then the mail arrived with the Kingpin Skateboarding Magazine with the Ben Raemers interview which was quite nice and while doodling around on the web today I came across this video with none other than the man on the front cover of the Kingpin Mag this month, Chris Haslam, enjoying his time in Germany at exactly the spot on the cover. And it looks sooooo much “nicer” on the video than the spot really is…Chris destroys it and makes it look so damn easy. Like his German as well…10 tricks with Chris Haslam, enjoy it. Now here’s one video I’ve been looking forward to watching. Globe’s United By Fate Finale has finally been finished and put online to watch – and I’m not going to spill the beans, watch it yourself! A very unique setting was chosen for the background and with skaters like David Gonzalez, Ryan Decenzo, Mark Appleyard, Jake Duncombe and Chris Haslam you know it’s got to be good.

The Battle At The Berrics 2 is moving forwards and the people have chosen the contestants for the second round of this pretty mad contest. And the skaters are:

Japan means to me different culture, different looks, different habits and of course different skating. The Momentum Wheels team took a trip over to Japan in summer 2008 and hit a lot of spots you wouldn’t see every day. They took on the crazy heat and brought back some video impresssions as well.
