Nice little man-made obstacle to find which obviously was not made for skating but it sure looks like it was! The photographer ‘luciarrno’ (check out his Flickr gallery) wasn’t happy with this photo (his description: z

Europeskate Family Grows

Hi everybody! I’ve just made it back in front of my computer to check my mail after several incredible days – my baby son Cooper Young was born Friday, June 25th and I am spending ever minute with him and his beautiful mother Maike at the hospital. He’s healthy and looking real good, sleeping and eating well too!
I’m an incredibly happy father and I of course want to let everybody know about this wonderful experience AND now you know why I haven’t been keeping up with the latest skateboard happenings! I’ll be back on the case by tomorrow probably as we’ll be coming home from the hospital. Thanks for all of the good wishes and maybe another skater was born? Only time will tell….

Breaking with traditions we’ve made the incredibly major change to the title of this ongoing post series on Europeskate – it’s been changed from “Pic of the Day” to “Photo of the Day”. Wow, I am really getting into my trivialities today but so be it. This picture grabbed my attention as I’m up for some pool sessions this weekend. No idea who the skater is but the shot was taken with a Nikon 70s by Christian Carroll (check out his Flickr gallery!)
