Video Impressions From the Eyes Wide Open Art Exhibition
June 30th, 2010 / No Comments » / by Jonathan Young

Getting things back up and running on Europeskate after 5 days full of incredible feelings and experiences with my newly born son so I have quite a bit of catching up to do. My mailbox is about to explode but with the long nights with my son I’ll be able to catch up quickly!
Just this past weekend the “LOVE & GUTS” art show returned, and this time in New York City at The Red Bull Space in SoHo. Skateboarding’s past and present heroes converged for an exhibition entitled “”Eyes Wide Open, which is centered around skateboarding’s fallen soldiers whose lives expired far too soon.
These losses have left a void in skating, but, their spirits and legacies continue to live on and as a special way to celebrate their lives, Love and Guts has chosen to further immortalize them via Eyes Wide Open. Participants in this year’s show include Lance Mountain, Steve Caballero, Steve Olson, Pat Ngoho along with others who were all more than willing to lend their talents to this special exhibition.
