Crossfire X-Mas Jam 2009 December 12th in London

Getting a bit of the Alzheimer in my older days – I almost forgot to post Crossfire’s annual X-Mas Jam which is taking place tomorrow, December 12th 2009 at the Bay 66 Skatepark in London, England.

Skating gets started at 12pm and goes on until 6pm with an unsponsored best trick competition and pro skater contests taking place in this time. Later on after what promises to be a great session the party goes on at The Metropolitan later on. I’m not going to waste my time copying and pasting the names of all ofthe top notch skaters who will be showing up, head over to the Caught in the Crossfire website to read all about it. Oh yeah, it costs 10 or 12 pounds to skate! Want to wet your appetite? Then check out some of the action from last year’s event!

Shaun Currie gets a video clip for Science Skateboards out of the UK. This one landed in my mailbox this morning, thanks to Chris for that. Filmed by Chris Morgan and Sam Palmer plus additional footage from Max Nerurkar, Matt Hirst and Tom Davies. Seems that the music shouldn’t be in there *hehe* so if you don’t feel like watching this like the old silent movies, then head over to the Science Skateboards website right now!

Etnies Recognition Tour Stop - The Works, Leeds, UK

The Etnies Recognition Tour made a stop at The Works skatepark in Leeds, UK yesterday May 24th with Jose Rojo, Tuuka, Davis Torgersen, Sean Malto, Ryan Sheckler and several others like Julien Furones (yeaaah!). Watch some of the flipping, grinding, switching action and sorry for all of those Sheckler haters – the guy has the tricks in his pocket and quite a few left over to kick some ass on his board. Whatever he does may not meet approval, but to be honest, who cares? Bring it on…
