There are still a lot of hidden wonders on our planet when we talk about skateboarding, you will never find them or skate them all and that’s a big part of the beauty of travelling to skate. Meet new people, see different countries, adapt to cultural differences and you’ve already won a lot of experience over the usual vacation trip.
Brad McClain, Alex Hallford, Chris Haslam, Keith Walsh, Jorge Simões, Thanos Panou and Yavor Stoyanov got together to visit the Greek island Andros which is just off the coast of Athens. On that very island there’s a little hotel called Blu Enigma which is owned and run by Nikos Garyfallos who used to live and ride in London.
Not only does his beautiful sit on the hill with an incredible view of the sea, it also has a concrete bowl/pool and besides that he then turned the BMX trails on the very top of the island into a massive DIY concrete skatepark! Yeah, very rad indeed. Check out the footage below and I think quite a few of us will want to go to this island soon!
