Transition Jam 2008 in Austria

The guys from the Austrian skateboard magazine “Last Try” are holding the second Transition Jam skateboard session after the successful run last year with some great skating. if you are somewhere near Kufstein, Austria from January 11th – 12th 2008 then get over to participate at this cool looking indoor bowl-miniramp landscape. Find out what’s going down and how to get in…

This could be a great start to the new year for you so maybe you are snowboardign in the area and you want to get some skating in? Well make sure you get in touch with the organizers as they need to know who’s coming to get it done right. Friday, January 11th will be the open practice day and Saturday starting at one in the afternoon you can get your lines in. Four awards will be given out in the following categories:

* Best Line
* Longest Grind
* Sickest Äirtime
* Sickest Trick
* Worst Slam

The skaters will judge each other and the five best skaters battle it out in a deathmatch. Food and drink and lots of fun will all be there waiting for 10 Euros – sounds like a blast to me! After the contest / session you can chill at the Planet Fräsh After Party with Asstronauts, Rubberfresh and MOZ. Never heard of them but after parties are always a good thing to do!
